C5CNM荣幸推出艺术家杨健名为《更 高 更 快 更 强》的个人项目。

合租公寓、工位、格子间，大城市里许多年轻人和“打工人”的安身立命之所，人们在被移植的逼仄空间里试图拓展一种积极、健康、丰裕的生活。但高歌猛进的时代梦想和远大前程不免经常被受限的个人时空所牵累，所有必要和脆弱的事物都岌岌可危，正如蛋壳事件和那些不可计数的类似事件中，年轻人在小小空间里筑起的伸展未来抱负的基石，被系统性地绑入无监管的金融扩张中，批量销毁。

这次展览，我将C5CNM的空间转化成室内羽毛球场，为来访者提供即兴锻炼的健身房。不要碰到鸡，不要碰到蛋，祝你更高更快更强。

蛋壳运动场使用须知：

-营业时间早11点－晚11点

-扫码进入，先来后到，礼让他人

-爱护空间内的设施和物品，维护场地整洁和卫生

-不得携带食品、有色饮料和酒精进入

-严谨随地吐痰，嚼口香糖，严谨吸烟

-未经允许不得改动除运动器材外的馆内设置和物品摆放

-体育运动宜文明高雅，友谊第一，比赛第二

C5CNM is pleased to present “Higher Faster Stronger”, artist Yang Jian’s solo project. 

Shared apartment, work desks and cubicles, the settlements for the majority of young people in large cities, who in hybrid confined space are attempting a positive, healthy and abundant life. Yet unavoidably, the fast advancing dreams of our age and the great future are often stumbled by the limited time and space that are assigned to individuals. Every necessity and vulnerable item was at stake, much as the aftermath of Danke (Eggshell) Apartment bankruptcy and countless other tragic events, the foundations built by young people in these tiny spaces, to extend their future ambitions, were systematically seized by the un-regulated finance expansion and were crushed by the batch.

For this exhibition, I transformed the interior of C5CNM into a badminton court, providing for the visitors an exercising facility of their fancy.

Danke Badminton Facility Rules and Regulations:

-Opening hours from 11am—11pm

-Scan the QR code to enter, first come first serve

-Care for the works and equipments, tidy up after yourselves 

-No food, drinks, alcohol may enter the facility

-No spitting, chewing gum and smoking at any time while using the facility

-Do not handle or relocate art works and objects inside the facility other than the exercising equipments provided

-Be polite and gentle, friendship first, competition second

C5CNM是一个地处北京798艺术区的实验性艺术空间（2018年秋天完成设计，2019年春天施工，2019年4月对公众开放）。长宽4.75 x 5.25米，挑高 3.5米，它小而独特的空间比例适合艺术家将展览整体视作一件作品去构想。C5CNM的空间本身是艺术家金宁宁的作品，他的空间构想性质类似游戏场抑或舞台，同时具备强烈的个人属性与真诚的开放性。更迭的活动与空间相加形成意料之外的全新感受，从而视觉体验被给予声学的特征。

空间从2019年春天开放以来，已呈现多个当代艺术展览和实验音乐演出的项目，并以“画廊airbnb”的方式与非营利机构及艺术家个体合作。我们希望对开放性的追求不止步于视觉艺术领域。C5CNM是一个可以7天24小时向公众开放的空间，来访者通过扫码发送请求索取当天的电子锁密码，获得随时进入展厅与作品相处权限。

C5CNM is an experimental space located in 798 Art District in Beijing. It measures 4.75 by 5.25 meters and 3.5 meters in ceiling height. Its modest though beautiful proportions invite artists to conceive an exhibition as one singular art work. The spatial design by artist Jin Ningning is a multifaceted and transformational artwork that mixes with the different occurrences that take place within, giving visual experience also an “acoustic” complexity.

Since its opening in Spring 2019 C5CNM has transitioned between exhibition space, live performance venue, and “air b-n-b gallery” for non-profits, and it is open to many more interpretations (functions). We hope this quest for unlimited freedom will attract creative individuals or collaboratives from beyond the field of visual art to produce works. We can not anticipate the forms this may take, but only look forward.

C5CNM is free and open to the public 24/7. Visitors may enter the space by acquiring the electronic lock combination any time of the day or night and are welcome to spend time alone with the work.
